  • The town of Olds lies in Central Alberta, 61 km south of Red Deer and 90 km north of Calgary, at the intersection between Highway 27 and Highway 2A and along the Canadian Pacific Railway’s Calgary - Edmonton line.

  • Incentives for development:

    The Town of Olds offers to prospective developers 0% of assessed property tax in the 1st year after receiving the Occupancy Permit, 25% of the assessed property tax in the 2nd year, 50% in the 3rd year, 75% in the 4th year. Only in the 5th year 100% of the annual property tax will be due. 

    And that’s not all: the Town of Olds offers a very fast permitting process. Once the appropriate drawings are complete and submitted, a Development Permit will be granted within 2 to 3 weeks.

    This property is ideal for all builders, developers and/or investors wanting to take advantage of the current Canadian housing crisis in a vibrant town with a negative percent occupancy rate.
